Final exam is Tuesday, June 11th, 11:30am-2:29pm, York 4080A.
Closed book. Please bring a blank blue book, a calculator, a pen
(no regrades for quizzes written in pencil)
and one sheet single- or double-sided with formulas (some words defining meaning of symbols only ok, no pictures).
Guidelines: Show all your work in your blue book.
No credit will be given for results with no explanation where
they came from. Write clearly and legibly. Scratch out/cross out as much as needed, no penalty nor credit for it. Only what's not
scratched out will be considered.

Course Format
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:
Problems from the book will be assigned every week,
solutions will be posted on the web page . To fully
understand the material, you should work most of the problems on your own without help of the solution key.
Homeworks will not be graded.
QUIZZES:
Closed-book quizzes will be given on alternate Mondays, the first one
on April 8th. There will be lectures on the other Mondays.
There will be no make-up quizzes.
COURSE GRADE will be computed from the average of the
5 quizzes (50%) and the (closed book) final exam (50%). If you need to miss a
quiz due to unavoidable circumstances AND notify the instructor
beforehand, it will not be counted and the final exam will count
10% more.
